M. D. Friedman's digital art will be on display at the Guilty Pleasures (Juried) Art Show) at SPARK Gallery at 900 Santa Fe Dr. in Denver, CO, 80204, from February 2- 26,2012. The Opening Reception is Friday, February 3, 6:00 - 9:00 pm.

M. D.'s piece, Swimming, won 1st Place in the Photo/Digital Art Category judging  for 16th Annual Lafayette Community Show. You may see this piece on display at the Lafayette Public Library (775 W Baseline Rd, Lafayette, CO 80026) until December 2, 2011.

• M. D.'s piece, Inside/Outside, won 1st Place in the Photo/Digital Art Category judging  for 15th Annual Lafayette Community Show.


• Read Kenneth Jessen's article, "The Multiple Artistic Talents of M.D. Friedman," in the Loveland Reporter-Herald on July 6, 2011.


• Read Robert King's interview with M. D. Friedman about digital poetry as published in the Colorado Poets' E-Words Issue #6 (Spring 2009).


• Recently (Feb. 2009) published in the fantastic debut issue of Jane Crown's e-zine,Heavy Bear.


• M. D.'s audio poem, "A Good Dog,"  was the overall winner of the Book Habit  & New Zealand Poetry Society 2008 Poetry Contest .


• M. D.'s piece, Where We Reach, won 1st Place in the Photographic Category judging  for 13th Annual Lafayette Community Show.   The judge's (Susannah Vandyke's) comments included :  "...creative and unusual, I liked the varied use of color intensity and positive and negative spaces.  I was struck by the masterful use of value. ..."


• M. D. Friedman 's digital interpretations of Colorado Aspenscapes represent a new collection of works called Artscapes: the Aspen Series.  Signed giclee prints from this collection are available on watercolor paper or canvas in variety of sizes directly from the artist. Aspen Fog  is also being featured this year at the POD Gallery in New York City .
